The National Toothbrushing day was launched by Indian association of public health dentistry to emphasize the importance of oral health among every member of the society. In accordance to it, the Department of Public Health Dentistry organized various activites to encourage the students to spread the importance of oral health promotion among the public. The undergraduate students were motivated to spread oral health awareness to their family members through "Brush up and Brighten!!!" initiative using visual-aid. Our college final year BDS students created a video on "Home Oral Care" in vernacular language and was launched by our respected Principal. "One word story" contest was conducted for final year BDS students on oral hygiene related topic and the winner were rewarded. All the participants were provided with an E-certificate.
