Code of Conduct

The ethical behaviour of dental professionals is one of the most important factors for delivering quality patient care. Our college adheres to the ethical norms and is committed to provide quality dental care to the patients with well-trained dental graduates under the guidance of eminent faculty members.

The students are oriented towards following human values, ethical principles and communication abilities by

→ Adopting ethical principles in all aspects of practice.

→ Fostering professional honesty and integrity.

→ Delivering patient care irrespective of social status, caste, creed, or religion of the patient.

→ Developing communication skills, to explain various options available and obtain informed consent from the patient.

→ Applying high moral and ethical standards while carrying out human or animal research.

→ Accepting the limitations in his knowledge and skill and to askfor help from colleagues when needed.

→ Respecting patient’s rights and privileges including patient’s right to information and right to seek a second opinion.

→ The students and staff members are instructed to follow the rules and regulations of the college and hostel. They should wear proper dress code while inside the college premises. The students and staff members are periodically sensitised about their roles and responsibilities and those not fulfilling their responsibilities will be directed to their respective reporting authorities. Ragging or sexual harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited.

→ The college has Anti-Ragging Committee, Gender Sensitisation Committee Against Sexual Harassment, Grievance Redressal Committee, Disciplinary Committee to monitor the code of conduct of students and staff members. Any breach in discipline will be addressed to the respective committees and immediate action will be taken.

→ Code of conduct handbook exists for students, teachers and academic and administrative staff including the Dean / Principal /Officials and support staff.
