The Youth Red Cross (YRC) committee organized "International youth day" on 12/08/2021 with the theme "Transforming Food Systems: youth innovation for Human and Planetary Health" Oratorical competitions (English and Tamil) were organized for UG students with the topics " Healthy foods and transforming food systems: Reality and Challange. The best oration in English and Tamil was then selected. Eight interns participated in a Tamil debate with the topic " is youth involvement necessary in agriculture?" and put forth their respective points in front of the judge. The concluding remarks were given by our Principal, Dr.A.Vasantha kumari. All participants and winners were felicitated with E-certificates.
