The National level function to celebrate 54th International Literacy Day was organized by Ministry of Education through online mode on 08.09.2020. UNESCO theme for 2020 was “Literacy teaching and learning in the COVID-19 crisis and beyond with a focus on the role of educators and changing pedagogies." Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Union Minister of Education was the Chief Guest, Shri Sanjay Dhotre, Minister of State for Education, was Guest of Honour. Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy Smt Anita Karwal and senior officials of the Ministry were also present. Live telecast of the function was organized at APDCH. Principal & all the faculties attended the programme.
