INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2020
NSS Team , Adhiparasakthi Dental College & Hospital, celebrated International Yoga Day 2020 on 22/06/2020 (Monday) with a motto “ Yoga to combat corona, Yoga to improve Physical, Mental & Social well-being of all health care workers. This staff benefit program was inaugurated by Principal Dr.A.Vasanthakumari with a welcome address. Mr.V.M. Janakiraman, Director-Yoga therapy, Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram gave online training for teaching & non-teaching staffs through live session. Over 30 teaching and non-teaching staffs performed Yoga with social distancing and were benefitted. Our 1st yr Undergraduate student, Gokul participated in an online Yoga Competition “MyLifeMyYoga2020” initiated by Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India. The final year students Priyadarshini, Melinda, Keerthika, Rashmika, Megazabeen., Sri janani performed various asanas following the yoga theme for the year 2020 “Yoga from home & Yoga with family”.
